Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler says it is important to return to winning ways and believes there is no better team to do it against than Kaizer Chiefs.
City faces Chiefs in a DStv Premiership clash on Saturday at Athlone stadium at 15:30.
The Citizens have struggled for form since returning to action following AFCON enforced break failing to win any of their five games, including a Nedbank Cup match.
“Obviously, it’s the world of sport,” Tinkler told journalists during a media open day at their Hartleyvale training ground.
“You can have two draws, three draws, and then you lose. ‘Oh, you haven’t won in four games’. Or you win, ‘you haven’t lost in four games’. That’s how quickly football can change. That’s the way the media interpret things.”
“It’s important for us to try to get back to winning ways. There is no better team to do it against than Kaizer Chiefs.”
