Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed their first January addition signing in former Cape Town City versatile full back Zuko Mdunyelwa on a ‘long term’ deal.
Mdunyelwa, 24, joins from Chippa United where he has been a consistent feature in the starting lineup since joining the team in 2021. He has played 13 games out of 15 this season.
He previously played for Cape Town City and Umoya United.
“Mamelodi Sundowns has completed the signing of Zuko Mdunyelwa from Chippa United on a long-term deal,” the club statement read.
“The 24-year-old defender joins The Yellow Nation as the first mid-season addition of the window after undergoing medicals and agreeing contact terms.”
