PSL Approve Thanda Sale

The Executive Committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has approved the sale of Thanda Royal Zulu’s PSL status to AmaZulu Football Club.

As a result, AmaZulu will play the 2017/2018 season in the Premier Division with Thanda Royal Zulu, now known as Richards Bay Football Club remaining in the National First Division (NFD).

Richards Bay, who are now under the ownership of former Thanda CEO, Jomo Biyela will obviously play in Richards Bay.

PSL also confirmed that FC Cape Town will now be known as Ubuntu Cape Town Football Club after the club was sold to the Ubuntu Football Trust.
