Mamelodi Sundowns take a massive step towards the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League after a massive 4-1 victory over CR Belouizdad in the first leg of the quarter finals on Saturday night at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algeria.
Two first half goals from Peter Shalulile and Neo Maema made it 2-0 to The Brazilians inside the opening 20 minutes before Belouizdad pulled one back through Miloud Rebiai to make it 2-1 going into the break.
Shalulile and Cassius Mailula scored two second half goals to give Sundowns a healthy lead before hosting the second leg at home.
Sundowns will host CR Belouizdad in the return leg at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, 29 April.
