Mamelodi Sundowns duo of coach Miguel Cardoso and forward Iqraam Rayners were the big winners of the Betway Premiership monthly awards for November and December.
Cardoso was voted Betway Premiership Coach of the Month following an impressive start to his Betway Premiership campaign with wins over Stellenbosch FC, AmaZulu FC and Richards Bay FC. Masandawana kept clean sheets in both these matches.
Iqraam Rayners was named Betway Premiership Player of the Month for his performances, narrowly edging strong competition from Relebohile Mofokeng and Hendrick Ekstein who produced strong performances in the same period.
Mduduzi Shabalala of Kaizer Chiefs won the Betway Premiership Goal of the Month for his solo-run and strike against Chippa United on 29 December in Durban. His strike was voted winner ahead of Thalente Mbatha and Relebohile Mofokeng’s goals against Marumo Gallants and Magesi FC respectively.

Leading up to the Betway Premiership derbies, fans nationwide can expect to meet some of the league’s legends (Betway Squad) as they visit various cities, where there will be direct engagement and exciting Betway prizes to be won.
As usual, the winners were selected and voted for by a judging panel comprising of PSL-accredited football journalists and broadcasters.
