Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane says it will be important for his team to start well when they open their 2022/23 DStv Premiership season away against Royal AM in Durban on Saturday.
Amakhosi has released as many as 12 players but added quality players like in preparations for the new season.
Coach Zwane will be hoping the new players settle quickly to help the term start the season well as he believes starting the season well will be important to build momentum for next games.
“We have worked on our preparations, but obviously it won’t be easy because all teams want to do well,” Zwane said.
“We have looked at different combinations at the back, midfield and attack, and we feel we are ready for action.
“It’s important to start well and work on building on that for the next number of games. We will do our best on Saturday and hope that the Amakhosi supporters that will be in the stadium leave with smiles on their faces.”
Amakhosi will play Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium at 17:30.
