A fiercely contested week four match looked like it was destined for a draw before Magama scored a brace well inside the last ten minutes. JVW had gone close to taking a lead with ten minutes left when Gabriela Salgado’s effort came off the post.

Tiffany Kortjie, who was making her first start of the season for UWC, opened the scoring for Thinasonke Mbuli’s side in the 22nd minutes before Mpumi Nyandeni levelled matters from the penalty spot on the stroke of halftime to make it 1-1 at the break.

Then, Magama scored two goals in the 85th and 87th minute to hand the home side their second win of the season and in the process maintain their perfect home record.
