Bafana Bafana will not contest the final of the COSAFA cup after they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Zambia in the semi-final at King Zwelithini stadium, uMlazi on Friday night.
Striker Tshegofatso Mabasa opened the scoring for the home side in the 44th minute to give Bafana Bafana a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Chipolopolo came back strong in the second half and were rewarded through a Golden Mashata goal in the 50th minute to level matters.
Albert Kangwanda scored what proved to be a winner in the 69th minute through a free kick.
Bafana Bafana will face Malawi, who lost against Lesotho, in the Bronze match on Sunday.
