Boitumelo Rabale scored a brace as Mamelodi Sundowns helped themselves to a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Royal AM in the Hollywoodbets Super League on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe stadium.
Rabale opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a clinical finish from inside the box before Andisiwe Mgcoyi added the second on the stroke of halftime with a tap in to make it 2-0 to Sundowns going into the break.
New signing Nthabiseng Majiya made it 3-0 in the 64th minute before Rabale added Sundowns’ 4th goal just three minutes later to make it a comfortable 4-0 win for the defending champions.
University of Johannesburg (UJ) also scored four goals in their 4-1 victory over First Touch Academy away at Baroka Global Sports Field. Captain Refilwe Maseko helped herself to two goals with the other goals coming from Shannon Macomo and Gugu Dhlamini. Lebogang Mamabolo scored a consolation goal for First Touch.
