The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have confirmed that they will observe a moment of silence for Johannes ‘Ryder’ Mofokeng ahead of this week’s DStv Premiership, GladAfrica Championship and DStv Diski Challenge fixtures.
The Moment of silence will be observed together with the Moment of Silence for the people who have lost their lives to the Covid19 pandemic.
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the passing away of their former captain on their social media.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our legend and longest serving Kaizer Chiefs captain Johannes ‘Ryder’ Mofokeng.
“The Chairman has on behalf of the Club expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family & friends.
“Robala ka kgotso Phoka.”
