The MTN8 semifinals draw was conducted straight after the last quarterfinals between Sundowns and SuperSport United at loftus Stadium where Sundowns won 3-1.
Chippa United were drawn against Sundowns while Bidvest Wits will face Cape Town City.
The semifinals will be played over two legs with Chippa and Wits hosting the first legs.
Chippa reached the semifinals after beating Platinum Stars 2-0 at the Royal Bafokeng stadium on Saturday. City and Wits prevailed againts the two Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates respectively.
The semifinals will take place on the weekend of 10 September 2016.
